Plastic-Free Furzedown has launched its  Local Recycling Champions Programme

 See the map here

Local shops and people have volunteered to be drop-off points for hard-to-recycle plastic waste, eg. Crisp, biscuit & sweet wrappers, medical blister packs, batteries, plastic pens, spectacles and small plastic bits. These are then taken to where they can be properly recycled, as opposed to going into landfill or incineration.
We are committed to the philosophy of Refuse-Reduce-Reuse-Recycle, and therefore although we will offer ways of recycling, we are trying to encourage people to use less plastic.
