Thankyou everyone who has continued to donate food and money to the Wandsworth Foodbank. The Foodbank is sadly needing to meet the needs of twice as many guests as in the same time last year. The food is now driven out to guests by volunteers and support and advice offered by phone.
It is obviously a sad reflection of the increasing numbers who have become unemployed and the inadequacy of the benefit system leading to growing numbers in food crisis.
Food donations can be dropped in to Aspire on Moyser Rd and money donations can be made online via the Wandsworth Foodbank website or dropped into any of the local churches.
