The chatroom is a moderated Yahoo group set up by FCN to help residents of Furzedown to get to know each other via email. It is used for:

• Making local friends
• Sharing information about the area
• Asking for advice
• Offering items free or for sale
• Advising of immediate local issues (burglaries, road closures etc)
• Asking to borrow items
• Help with finding a dentist, doctor or tradesman, etc.

There are postings from local councillors, the police Safer Neighbourhood Team and Wandsworth Borough Council.
Since January 2010, another 130 people have joined the chatroom. There are now almost 1300 local people on the yahoogroup who can contact the rest of the group with just one email!
